67SiCr5 (AISI 9254)is a Spring Steel which is manufactured in Rod, Bar and coil.

67SiCr5 is available in:
Precision cold drawn, Ground polished pointed and chamfered ends above 4mm Ø Eddy-current tested above 5mm Ø bars.

For automatic lathes of 3m (2m) lengths

At delivery about 740 N/mm2

Heat Treatment
Hardening Temperature (Oil): (830-860 ºC max)
Obtainable hardness: 61 HRC
After Tempering: 40-60 BRC

Cutting Rate
About 20m/min depending on the lubrication oil, the cutting tools, shape of parts.
